Recruiting resources

Places to start if you are an athlete or parent working through college recruiting.

COMMITTED

A recruiting platform built for high school track and field. Its idea is simple: your numbers should open doors.

For athletes
Build a profile with your times, marks and GPA. Submit results with proof such as meet results, timing-system data or a coach’s signature. Marks show as self-reported until they are verified, and when a mark meets a coach’s standard you appear in that coach’s search results.
For coaches
Set the performance standard you recruit to and see the athletes who meet it. College programs from NCAA D2, D3, NAIA and JUCO are already on the platform.
For parents
A parent or guardian has to give consent before a coach can contact an athlete who is 18 or younger. Messaging follows recruiting rules, including contact windows and message limits.
Cost
Sign-up is free to start. A recruiting rules and calendar guide is free to use without an account.

NCAA Eligibility Center

The NCAA’s official office for deciding who can compete in college sports. If you want to run at an NCAA school, you have to register here.

Who needs it
Every athlete who wants to compete at an NCAA school in Division I, II or III. The Eligibility Center checks your academic and athletic eligibility, which decides whether you can practice, compete and receive athletic aid in your first year of college.
Which account
Aiming for Division I or II: choose the Academic and Athletics Certification account. Division III: U.S. students choose the Profile Page. If a Division I or II school starts recruiting you, you can switch your Profile Page to a certification account.
When to register
Early. You can register at any age, even in middle school. Registering early tells you which documents you need, keeps you informed about your status and helps you avoid delays.
Year by year
Take your high school’s NCAA-approved core courses and graduate on time. Ask your counselor to upload your transcript at the end of each school year. Before senior year, share your NCAA ID with schools recruiting you. After graduation, request final certification and have your school send your final transcript.
Questions
Eligibility Center customer service: 877-262-1492, Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern.
